Chocolate Donuts

 Ingredients needed :

  • White Flour (Maida) - 1 Cup
  • Powdered sugar - 1/2 Cup
  • Baking powder - 1 Tsp
  • Baking soda / Eno - 1/2 Tsp
  • Salt - 1/8 Tsp 
  • Oil / Butter - 2 Tbsp 
  • Fresh Curd - 1/2 Cup 
  • Dark Chocolate 
  • Donut Topping (Optional ) 
Method : 
  • Take a bowl and add Maida, Powdered sugar, Baking powder, Baking soda and Salt. Mix these ingredients well .
  • Add Oil to the mixture and make a soft dough for the donuts by adding curd gradually .Grease the dough with oil or butter .
  • Cover the dough with a lid and let it rest for an hour .
  • Make two parts of the dough and roll out slightly thick roti with each of them .
  • After rolling out the roti , Cut out the donut shape using the edge of a glass and the lid of any bottle for taking out the inner hole of the donut .
  • Fry the donuts in medium hot oil and wait till the colour changes to golden yellow . 
  • To coat the donuts , Take any chocolate (Preferably Dark Chocolate) and melt it using a microwave or double boiler method.
  • Coat the donuts with this melted chocolate and for decorating the donuts use any donut toppings or simply use the powdered sugar for giving it a royal look . (Optional) 
  • Your Chocolate donuts are ready .... Enjoy !
